Car Boot Sale in Sendelager, April 30th

Hi everybody,

just a piece of information about Stammtisch activities:
On Sun Apr. 30th, some of us will visit a carboot sale at Dempsey
barracks in Sennelager, Husarenstr., starting at 10:45. It is a pure
private sale and the British are very fair about prices (books and DVDs
from 0,50 EUR onwards!). Only the guy from the British shop "Little
England" in Sennelager offers some of his goods directly imported
from GB. And they serve the "Full English" breakfast (good quality), e.g.
single items of the full English, like eggs, and tea in the dining hall.

About noon a fish'n chips van uses to show up and a guy who
offers German "Bratwurst". Wind and weather permitting it will be a lovely Sunday trip.

Ow! That was a lot of ad...If you go by car you are advised to arrive early (or really late, risking

the best items from the flea market) because of the parking. (Space
being in little streets either before or after you reach the barracks.)
The street along the barracks will be jammed with British cars (and
their "boots" ;-)) around opening time.
